Hi! My name is T-kya, and Pilates has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with both parents as Pilates instructors, I was introduced to this incredible practice at a young age. In fact, I was often their "test subject" for new moves and techniques, which gave me a unique, hands-on understanding of Pilates from the start.
My passion for Pilates truly deepened after experiencing its transformative power firsthand. Following two car accidents, Pilates became my go-to tool for rehabilitation. It not only helped me recover but also restored my strength and mobility in ways I never thought possible. I learned how essential low-impact, mindful movement can be for both recovery and overall well-being.
Now, at 20 years old, I’m a certified instructor in all mat Pilates levels as well as beginner and intermediate Reformer Pilates. I love helping others discover how Pilates can improve their lives, whether it's to build strength, improve flexibility, or recover from injuries. I believe Pilates is for everyone—it’s a powerful yet gentle way to stay in shape, feel strong, and care for your body, no matter where you are in your fitness journey.
